Land Surveying Services
Athena is well equipped to provide all types of surveying services including boundary/cadastral/ real property, aerial surveying, land surveying, mapping, hydrographic/bathymetric, engineering support, and GIS base mapping. Athena prides itself in keeping up with technology and staying abreast of the trends and advances in the surveying and engineering professions. Today’s surveying data collection includes terrestrial LiDAR 3D scanning, underwater sonar, and aerial UAV/UAS drones. We can mobilize multiple survey crews equipped with the latest in equipment and GPS technology, all supported by a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. Field and office personnel place particular emphasis on safety, property entry, data collection, record keeping, and control measures.

Ecological Services
Athena’s work over the last seven years with the U.S. Department of Agriculture – Natural Resources Conservation Service Region 2 (AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA, and the National Water Management Center) illustrates the width and breadth of our ecological services capabilities. Dam Safety
Athena’s impressive in-house cadre of 30 former USACE dam and levee safety experts continues to be a differentiator. Several Athena cadre members helped develop and write USACE policy and guidance on dam and levee safety. This has proven to be mutually beneficial for Athena and the former USACE leaders who want to stay engaged and support the Nation’s infrastructure.
Through our service to the USACE and the RMC, Athena has developed a stronger, more diverse team spanning a much wider spectrum of contract capabilities, ensuring a winning combination for dam owners. Our unmatched experience includes dam and levee safety engineering and design, quantitative risk analysis, technical reviews, and development of dam and levee safety guidance and regulations.
